If you watch (or are watching) the show Silicon Valley on HBO, you may have noticed a sneaky background character in the Season 3 finale on Sunday.
Without giving too much away, it looks like the guys are Pied Piper are running their app the flexible, scalable HPE Synergy. Synergy is the world’s first platform architectured for composable infrastructure. Basically, what that means is compute, storage and fabric are now always available as single pools of resources that can be instantly configured on the spot, when needed. Gilfoyle is even able to spin up some extra servers to quickly solve for an “uptick” in users.
Speaking of users, looks like more than a few fans of the show noticed HPE’s pivotal role in this episode. Did you?
